Within May companies reduced groats output to 21,592 MT

As of May 2011, companies have declined groats output to 21,592 MT, down 4.68% against Apr 2011, reported Agrarika Ltd referring to its experts estimation and State Statistics Committee data.
As to report, Jan-May 2011 groats output totaled 109,150 MT, down 15,517 MT (- 12%) as of 2010 similar.
Reportedly, within May 2011 groats outputs leaders were Cherkasy region, Khmelnytskiy region, Kharkiv region, Kirovograd region, Lugansk region, Chernighiv region and AR of the Crimea.
In May 2011, most regions were characterized with groats output decline; maximum declines were registered in Lviv region (- 100%), Zakarpatska region (- 93.75%), Chernivtsi region (- 80.49%) and Zaporizhia region (- 70%). However, several regions have succeeded to raise their May 2011 groats output: Kherson region (+ 143.29%), Poltava region (+ 122.31%), Chernighiv region (+ 93.10%), Rivne region (+ 38.46%) and Zhytomyr region (+ 30.23%).
