Kazakhstan to export to Russia 5 thousand tons of meat

Kazakhstan plans to export to Russia 5 thousand tons of meat until the end of the year. Director of Department of Development of Cattle Breeding and Veterinary Safety, Rabiga Tokseitova, informed during the press conference, the agency reports.
«We can export 5 thousand tons to Russia until the end of the year,» R. Tokseitova informed.
As informed earlier, Vice President of Committee of state inspection in agrarian and industrial complex of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Ahmetzhan Sultanov, informed that Russia lifted ban on import of meat from three areas of Kazakhstan: the Northern Kazakhstan, Mangistau and Kostanay.
«Rosselhoznadzor lifted ban from three areas, except the Akmola area, on import of animals and cattle-breeding production on July 9, 2010,» A. Sultanov informed.
