As of Jan-Feb, agrarians cut vegetables sales by 30%, down to 22,247 MT

In Jan-Feb 2010 agricultural companies have reduced vegetables sales to 22,247 MT, down 9,755 MT (- 30%) against Jan-Feb 2009, reported State Statistics Committee.
As for Jan-Feb 2010 vegetables sales structure, companies sold 0.1% total vegetables to processors; 0.3% were given to population (incl. public catering system) on account of salaries, 0.3% - to shareholders on account of land plots/property shares rental payment.
As to Committee, 17.7% vegetables were sold on markets (81.6% - through other trade channels).
As to report, in Jan-Feb 2009 agrarians sold 32,002 MT vegetables.
As to Agro Perspective earlier report, in Jan 2010 agricultural companies lowered vegetables sales to 9,872 MT, down 2,130 MT (- 17.7%) against Jan 2009.
As to Agro Perspective, in 2009 agrarians lifted vegetables sales to 807,148 MT, up 256,562 MT (+ 46.6%) against 2008.
In 2008 agrarians had sold 550,586 MT vegetables (up as of 430,520 MT in 2007).
