Within Jun State Reserve has sold 45.000t flour to regions

This Jun, within frameworks of interventional program argeted at domestic bakery plants’ assuring with baking resources, State Regional Administrations have purchased 45.000t flour (up 30.000t against May) from companies of State Committee for Land Resources, reported Olena Derezhenko, State Reserve’s press-secretary. As to O.Derzhenko, since interventions’ starting on Feb 16, regions have purchased 119.000t flour from State Reserve, with Jun purchasing having been the most active. O.Derzhenko adds, Committee suppose regions will remain active in second half year as well. As reported, this May State Reserve has sold 14.800t flour to regions. State Reserve started market’s flour interventions in mid Feb in order to stabilize grain products’ market. State Reserve’s stocks, though officially not disclosed, are estimated ~ 1 million tons food grain. Domestic grain market demand for bread and bakery goods production is ~ 6-7 million tons yearly.
