Cabinet adopted plants protection sphere risk levels estimation criteria

With its Decree ¹ 513 (from May 27/09), Cabinet has adopted criteria to estimate risk levels of plants protection sphere economic activity and fixed State supervision (control) scheduled measures frequency. Decree stipulates that plants protection sphere economic activity risk levels should be estimated due to following criteria: observance of agricultural plants (perennial/forest plantations, trees, bushes and indoor plants) growing technology; taking of timely plants protection measures by all kinds property organizations as well as natural persons (entrepreneurs); observance of plants protection means storage, transportation and usage rules; usage of I-IV danger categories pesticides. Due to plants protection sphere economic activity risk levels estimation criteria, economic entities should be classified into 1 of 3 risk levels (high, middle or insignificant). As to Decree, State supervision scheduled measures on plants protection sphere economic entities activity should be taken by Ukrainian regions, districts and AR of the Crimea agrarian policy plants protection executive power central bodies/plants protection State inspections regarding economic entities with high risk level − not over once a year (middle risk level − not over once per 2 years, insignificant risk level − not over once per 3 years).
