Government to boost farm economies budgetary financing by UAH200 million
19.02.2009 08:32 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
As to Premier Yuliya Tymoshenko Feb 17/09 farmers meeting report, Government has proposed to raise farm economies financing from State budget by UAH200 million, up to UAH226 million. As to Tymoshenko, this money can be used, in part., to grant interest-free credits to agrarians. “Cabinet and Ukrainian Association of Farmers and Private Landowners have revised 2009 State budget allocations and decided that in total UAH226 million should be directed to farmers through redistribution of Stabilization Fund expenditures, − that is, UAH26 million plus UAH220 million. This decision adoption needs no VR voting, it needs only VR Budgetary Committee approval,” recapitulated Premier.
