Within Jan-Mar agrarians reduced rye sales by 81%, to 12,000 MT

Within Jan-Mar 2007 agricultural companies have shortened rye sales to 12,500 MT, down 51,600 MT (- 80.6%) against Jan-Mar 2006, reported State Statistics Committee. As for rye sales structure, companies have sold 11% total rye to processors; 5,9% were given to population (incl. public catering system) on account of salaries, 3.1% to shareholders on account of land plots/property shares rental payment. As to Committee, 17.8% rye were sold on markets, 62.2% through other trade channels. As to Agro Perspective earlier report, within last year Jan-Mar agricultural companies had sold in total 64,000 MT rye.
