Agrarians have sown spring grains at 68% planned areas

As of Apr 12, agrarians have sown spring grains/leguminous at 68% total planned areas ( 5,354.500 ha), reported Ministry of Agrarian Policy press-service.
As to report, spring wheat has been sown at 425,000 ha (96% total planned), barley at 4,062.000 ha (100%), oats at 328,000 ha (87%) and peas at 353,000 ha (103%).
As to press-service, steppe zone agricultural companies have sown spring grains/leguminous at 2,449.200 ha, forest-steppe zone at 2,242.100 ha and marshy scrubs zone at 646,900 ha.
As to Agro Perspective earlier report, as of Apr 6, spring grains/leguminous were sown at 5,197.000 ha ( 66% total planned).
As to Agro Perspective, Ukrainian Agricultural Minister Yuriy Melnyk declared he was certain this year grains crop forecasts would come true/grains crop would grow up to 38 mn MT.
