Agrarians have sown spring grains at 4.2 mn ha

As of Mar 30, agrarians have sown spring grains/leguminous at 4,152.000 ha (53% total planned), reported Ministry of Agrarian Policy press-service.
As to report, spring wheat have been sown at 316,000 ha (71% total planned), spring barley at 3,272.000 ha (80%) and spring rape at 49,000 ha (37%).
As to press-service, steppe area agricultural companies have sown spring grains/leguminous at 2,252.700 ha (66% forecasted), forest-steppe area at 1,560.200 ha (46%) and marshy scrubs area at 339,000 ha (32%).
Reportedly, within last week agrarians have also begun sugar beet sowing; as of Mar 30, sugar beet have been sown at 57,000 ha (7% forecasted).
As to Agro Perspective earlier report, Ukrainian Agricultural Minister Yuriy Melnyk declared he was certain this year grains crop forecasts would come true/grains crop would grow up to 38 mn MT.
As to Agro Perspective, as of Mar 23, agrarians had sown spring crops at 2 mn ha.
