Deputies Kyrylenko, Kaletnyk and Bokiy to regulate biofuel market

As to new draft Law (registered on Verkhovna Rada official website), people deputies Ivan Kyrylenko, Grygoriy Kaletnyk and Ivan Bokiy have proposed to VR to regularize domestic biofuel market in order to promote this economy sector development and reduce country dependence on imported fuels.
Draft Law has been elaborated in order to legally regulate country biological kinds fuels production/consumption market; draft Law is to create necessary conditions for these kinds fuels production/consumption stimulation in Ukraine.
Besides, proposed Law is targeted at bringing into line of Ukrainian/EU environment protection and ecology legislative norms; as well, draft Law is meant to support Ukrainian national fuel market/Agrarian-Industrial Complex advancement.
As to Agro Perspective earlier report, earlier Cabinet had approved Ukrainian Program of Diesel Biofuel Production Development for 20072010 targeted at promotion of diesel biofuel plants construction, creation of intensified rape growing zones, assuring of agrarians rape (necessary for biofuel output) guaranteed sales and rape cultivation lands optimization.
As to Agro Perspective, within last few years Ukrainian authorities tried to launch biodiesel output in Ukraine.
Biofuel can be produced either from rape or ethanol (high-octane additive).
