Cabinet to use 2007 State budget UAH150 mn for Agrarian-Industrial Complex fertilizers cheapening

As to Cabinet Decree № 182 from Feb 9, 2007 «About Establishing of Procedure of State Budget Means Usage for Partial Compensation of Domestically Made Mineral Fertilizers Cost within 2007,» Cabinet has decided to direct 2007 State budget UAH150 mn to cheapen cost of mineral fertilizers intended for Agrarian-Industrial Complex. As to Decree, partial compensation should cover cost of domestically made mineral fertilizers purchased by agricultural companies within Jan 1/07-Dec 1/07. In part., 9 kinds fertilizers are to be cheapened with following compensations: ammophos UAH250,0 per MT, ammoniac water UAH70 per MT, potash-magnesian fertilizers («Kalimagnesia») UAH30,0 per MT, potash-magnesian fertilizers («Kalimag») UAH30,020,0 per MT, carbamide UAH110,0 per MT, complex mineral fertilizers (fertilizer mixes) UAH75,0 per MT, nitrate-ammonia-phosphorus («Superagro») UAH200,0 per MT, saltpeter ammoniac UAH100,0 per MT and superphosphate UAH110,0 per MT. As to approved Procedure, compensations are to be granted only to those agricultural companies which have a land plot in usage/ownership. Compensations shouldn’t be granted to bankrupted companies, companies having been filed bankruptcy cases against, companies under liquidation or companies having over half year stale indebtedness to State/local budget or State Pension Fund. As to Agro Perspective earlier report, as of this year Jan 23, agricultural companies had in total 102,000 MT mineral fertilizers (in terms of nutritive substances) for 2007 springtime field works complex (14% necessary).
