9 regions Aug cheese prices up 0.1-7.6%, to UAH11,35-20,62/kg

Aug cheese prices have boosted to UAH11,3520,62/kg (up 0.17.6%) in 9 regions retail shops and simultaneously lowered to UAH10,2715,05/kg (down 1.69.1%) in 4 regions retail shops against Jul, reported Ministry of Economics. As to report, Aug cheese maximal (UAH20,62/kg) and minimal (UAH10,27/kg) prices have been registered correspondingly in Chernivtsi region and Kyiv region shops. As of monitoring date, cheese was missing in 6 regions (Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kirovograd, Lugansk, Poltava and Chernighiv) shops. As to Ministry of Economics, within Aug cheese prices have grown to UAH6,339/kg (up 0.36.1%) on 13 regions markets and simultaneously declined to UAH6,312,14/kg (down 0.56.6%) on 9 regions markets against Jul, with Aug most expensive (UAH12,4/kg) cheese having been sold on c. Kyiv markets and cheapest (UAH6,0/kg) on Rivne region markets. As earlier reported, this Jul retail sale network cheese prices had lowered to UAH10,5215,4/kg (down 0.46.5%) in 8 regions shops and simultaneously risen to UAH11,3216,28/kg (up 0.18.7%) in 6 regions retail shops against this Jun, reported Ministry of Economics. This Jul cheese prices had dropped to UAH6,3312,2/kg (down 0.48.3%) on 16 regions markets and simultaneously lifted to UAH6,268,67/kg (up 1.019.7%) on 8 regions markets against this Jun. Early this year experts had forecasted Ukrainian cheeses output 8,00010,000 MT monthly shortening due to RF authorities having had imposed ban on Ukrainian animal (incl. dairy) products import.
