State Reserve purchased 2006 food grain 37,300 MT on Aug 8 tender

As to 2006 crop grains Aug 8 purchase tender results, State Committee for Material Reserves (State Reserve) has acquired this year crop food grain 37,700 MT (instead of earlier planned 100,000 MT), reported State Reserve press-service.As to report, State Reserve has bought 3 class wheat 23,400 MT (for total UAH18,227 mn) and 4 class wheat 13,900 MT (for total UAH7,135 mn), with 3 class wheat having been bought at UAH760780 per MT, 4 class wheat UAH670680 per MT. As to press-service, Committee will start concluding purchase/sale contracts with tender winners since Aug 23. As earlier reported, Committee had initially planned to purchase in total 100,000 MT grain on this tender; however, tender participants submitted applications only for 42,000 MT food grain (incl. 25,900 MT 3 class wheat and 16,400 MT 4 class wheat). State Reserve is going to purchase in total 400,000 MT new crop grain up to 2006 Reserves Replenishment Plan, with purchases to be finished in Oct.
