Polish sugar beets suffering from intense drought

As to the Polish Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation, within Poland, 14 (of total 16) provinces remained drought-stricken within this year May 1 - Jun 30, Ukrainian National Association of Sugar Producers says referring to the Radio Poland report.
As to the Institute, within this year May 1 - Jun 30, the number of Polish farm economies facing the water shortage is up 670 against this year Apr 21 - Jun 20.
The Institute says 28% of all the agricultural land within 14 provinces have become drought-stricken, with all the grains-sown areas having been affected by drought (incl. spring/winter grains, potatoes, vegetables, sugar beets and hops’ sown areas).
