Cabinet approves Ukraine-Israel FTA ratification bill

At its today meeting, the Cabinet has approved a draft law on ratification of a free trade agreement between Ukraine and Israel, Ukrinform reports.
Thus, the Cabinet is going to propose the Verkhovna Rada to adopt the draft law on ratification of the FTA signed between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the State of Israel as of this year Jan 21 within Jerusalem.
It is to be reminded, as of this year Jan 21, Ukrainian First Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv and Israeli Minister of Economy and Industry Eli Cohen signed a free trade agreement between the two countries. It is to be admitted, the free trade agreement must be ratified by the Verkhovna Rada and the Knesset of the State of Israel, and then, within two months after the exchange of the diplomatic notes proving the completion of the ratification procedure, the agreement will come into force.
