As of this week, Astarta, one of Ukrainian agricultural leading producers, has sown sugar beets at 18,000 ha (half of its total areas to be sown at), Ukrainian National Association of Sugar Producers says referring to the Astarta Facebook report.
As to the report, now the Astarta companies have already crossed the «equator» of their sugar beets’ sowing campaign; besides, the companies situated within the Ukrainian western regions, have already started their sunflower sowing. At same time, however, the Astarta companies still have not started their maize/soybeans’ sowing.
It is to be admitted, within this year, the Astarta companies have firstly ever started using a complex digital output technology - the Agri Management platform, developed by the Astarta subsidiary company Agri Chain. The new platform has been introduced within the work of all the Astarta companies already. It is to be admitted, as of last year, some of the companies had tested it just within a pilot mode.
«This year our companies have started their field works having combined the work and business processes into a single program Agri Management. Agri Management is a system for planning, accounting and analyzing of the main working operations within an online mode. However, we use also another mobile tool, WMS (warehouse management system), based on bar coding technology. We use it to control the movement and use of the material and technical resources. We are convinced that the new solutions will strengthen the Astarta work efficiency,» Zhelko Erzeg, Astarta Operations Director, admits.
