Green Week builds up Ukrainian international economic cooperation

The return of Ukraine as a full member with its national pavilion to the International Green Week exhibition will deepen the Ukrainian international business partnership and economic ties, expand the Ukrainian export shipments’ geography and enhance its national brand «Ukraine Now», Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food says referring to Ukrainian Acting Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Maxym Martyniuk report.
«This event is a unique opportunity for intergovernmental networking and a place where we can reconcile our global trends and, due to them, determine our agriculture development directions,» Martyniuk has said.
It is to be admitted, within the first days of the exhibition, the Ukrainian delegation conducted dozens of interstate talks with EU agrarian ministers. Besides, its had held bilateral meetings with representatives of the World Bank, the German Farmers Union, the German Food and Drink Industry Federation and the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
Besides, as the head of the Ukrainian delegation, Maxym Martyniuk participated within a meeting with the German Federal Chancellor Dr Angela Merkel within the framework of the Global Food and Agriculture Forum. Angela Merkel addressed the foreign agriculture ministers with a speech on the importance of digital technology for the future of agriculture.
