Kubiv: Lviv region investments attracting leader

01.11.2018 22:39 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As of this week, while speaking within the opening of the 18th International Economic Forum, Ukrainian First Vice Prime Minister - Economic Development and Trade Minister Stepan Kubiv has said due to the results of 2016–2017 and eight months of 2018, Lviv region is a leader in attracting investments into Ukraine, Ukrinform says referring to the Economic Development Ministry Twitter report. «Lviv region is a leader within investments’ attracting. Within 2016/17, about 140 companies were opened there, over 20,000 new jobs were created,» Kubiv noted. As to him, almost 83% of the Ukrainian total export growth within 8 months of 2018 was provided by the Ukrainian 10 regions. So, the Lviv region is among the TOP 5 regions as for the export growth and the TOP 3 as for the rate of export growth to the EU countries. As to the minister, Ukraine now offers investors a comfortable business climate, profitable projects and propositions, including large and small privatization, projects of public-private partnership, cooperation through the opening of joint venture companies. As to the earlier report, as of this year mid-Oct, small-scale privatization, carried out through auctions, ensured an almost UAH300 million receipt to the State budget.
