Volodymyr Lapa: IT technologies is future of agricultural sector and State management

08.10.2018 19:59 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As of last week, while speaking within the ceremonial opening of the Syngenta first Digital Innovation Lab (Digital Innovation Lab) within Kyiv, Head of the State Food Safety and Consumer Protection Service Volodymyr Lapa has said that the IT technology is a future for both agro-sector and State management, Ukrainian State Service for Foods Safety and Consumer Protection reports. As to Lapa, the Food Safety Service has recently introduced the electronic document management system within its central body and territorial offices. "Among the urgent priorities of the Service is the introduction of electronic systems, which are presently developed with the support of our European partners. We hope for their real introduction into the work of the Food Safety Service next year, " Lapa admitted. Also, Lapa has taken part within the panel discussion on the prospects of the modern Ukrainian IT agrotechnologies devloping and boost output the domestic agricultural producers on the world market. It is to be admitted, Digital Innovation Lab is the sixth largest company of the Syngenta global network of the digital innovation laboratories. As for the digital development and laboratories, the company has already implemented 5 similar projects within the USA, China, India, Singapore, and the United Kingdom within the past year and a half.
