Canada to introduce stage-by-stage automation of export processes and certificates issuing within 3 years

As of now, Canada has started introducing the electronic export certificates for plant, animal and food products, Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food says referring to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) report.
As to the report, the automation of export processes and certificates’ issuing will be carried out within stages within 20182020. At the same time, before the transition to electronic certification is made, there is a possibility of signing certificates either in paper form or with a new electronic signature.
Besides, the CFIA has also developed a new feature - the «viewing of CFIA certificates» that will be available through the My CFIA website, which will allow international trading partners to view and authenticate Canadian online certificates.
