Poroshenko: Ukraine-Austria trade turnover up 17%

As of yesterday, while on a working visit to Austria, and while speaking within a joint press conference with Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen in Vienna, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said a trade turnover between Ukraine and Austria boosted by 17% within the last year, Ukrinform reports.
«Over the past year, the trade turnover between our countries grew by 17%,» Poroshenko admitted.
In addition, he notes that Austria is the sixth largest investor in Ukraine.
At the same time, Poroshenko states that the Ukrainian-Austrian business forum will be organized within this year Mar for the investors to see «the attractiveness of a business climate» within Ukraine.
It is to be admitted, presently Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is paying a visit to Vienna at the invitation of Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen.
Within the visit, Poroshenko holds bilateral talks with President Alexander Van der Bellen and newly appointed Federal Chancellor Sebastian Kurz. The parties discuss issues on further deepening of the high level political dialogue, the both countries’ trade, economic and investment cooperation as well as Donbas situation development.
