Kyiv mayor signs agreement with China on metroline construction

The Ukrainian capital mayor Vitaliy Klitschko and Deputy Chairman of the China Pacific Construction Group, Guo Hu, have signed an agreement on the construction of the fourth metro line in Kyiv, NRCU says referring to the Kyiv City State Administration report.
As to the report, the agreement provides for the creation of a working group of Ukrainian and Chinese specialists, who will develop the best technical and financial solutions for the project implementation.
«The cost of construction is estimated at US$2 milliard, with 85% of the projected cost to be secured by a loan from Chinese financial institutions,» the report reads.
As to the report, the project stipulates the construction of a branch from Zhulyany to Troyeschyna with a length of almost 18 km with 13 stations. And also the construction of a transfer line of 1 km in length between a circular inter city train and the new branch of the metro.
