UN expert: World has "every interest" to better manage migration

As of yesterday, while in Beirut (Lebanon), and while speaking to the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), Louise Arbour, the UN Special Representative for International Migration, has said the world has every interest to manage migration better, given the expanding global population and the huge increase in people on the move, UN Radio reports.
As to the report, while participating the Commission work, Arbour will address pressing issues related to the movement of people within the Arab region.
It is to be admitted, the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) was held to identify ways of supporting the most vulnerable migrants.
