Ternopil dairy plant to invest UAH100 mln into its output capacity expansion until 2020

PJSC Ternopil Dairy Plant, a large Ukrainian milk processing enterprise (the Molokiya brand), is going to invest UAH100 million in expanding its production facilities within the next three years, Interfax-Ukraine says referring to the Ternopil Dairy Plant report.
As to the report, the Plant is going to spend UAH80 million of total investment for the building of a milk powder facility. It is expected that the construction will last at least two years. The plan for 2017 is to carry out preparatory work before the construction of the workshop.
In addition, the Plant is going to invest at least UAH20 million into expanding the capacity for production of fresh dairy products and butter.
«These investments are not external, these are the funds from the enterprises profit, depreciation charges and credit funds,» the report reads.
As to the report, the Plant also plans by the end of 2017 to expand its milk processing capacity by 20%, in particular boost the capacity for output of fresh dairy products by 30% against last year.
It is to be admitted, Ternopil Dairy Plant exports casein and butter to Poland, Germany, Holland, Latvia, the United States, Georgia, and Morocco. It estimates its share of the Ukrainian market within the category of sour-milk products, butter and curd at about 5%.
