Ukrainian State Statistics Service registers record high grains crop

Within 2016, Ukraine harvested 65.95 million tons grains and leguminous crops (up 9.7% against 2015), what makes a record for the Ukrainian independence period, UNIAN says referring to the Ukrainian State Statistics Service preliminary data.
As to the Service, Ukrainian 2016 sunseeds’ crop boosted to 13.6 million tons, up 21.7% against 2015 (sugar beet - to 13.88 million tons, up 34.3%; field vegetables - to 9.4 million tons, up 2.2%; potatoes - to 21.75 million tons, up 4.4%).
As to the Service, within 2016 Ukrainian farmers set a historic record, having had harvested 66 million tons grains (up 5.9 million tons against 2015).
It is to be admitted, the data are provided excluding the occupied territory of Crimea and part of the Anti-Terrorist Operation zone.
