Groisman: E-governance must be integral part of public administration reform

As of today, while speaking within a roundtable with experts, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman has said one of the components of the Ukrainian public administration reform must be the introduction of e-governance, that would contribute to improving of the quality of services provided to the citizens, Government Portal reports.
As to the report, while referring to the prospects of the Ukrainian public administration reform within the framework of the Medium-Term plan of Priority Actions for the Government until 2020, Groisman admitted that «e-governance must be an integral part of the public administration reform and entail improved efficiency».
«I wish the citizens could avoid contacts with officials,» he stressed.
As to the report, Groisman reminded that within 2014 there had been established the Ukrainian State Agency for E-Governance - but there is yet no «breakthrough» in e-governance sphere.
However, Groisman was certain that priorities stipulated by the 2017 State budget will provide an opportunity to make a major step towards introduction of e-governance in the country and providing of the e-services to the people.
