Ukraine, India hold talks to facilitate access of Ukrainian agricultural products to Indian market

Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Taras Kutoviy and Indian Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh have met in Berlin during the International Green Week, Ukrinform says referring to the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry report.
As to the report, the parties discussed a draft agreement on cooperation in agriculture and food industry.
«Currently, the ministry is working on the possible ways to facilitate the access of Ukrainian agricultural products to the Indian market,» the report reads.
As to Kutoviy, Ukraine is interested in signing of an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in agriculture between the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry and the Indian Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Ministry.
As to him, the most important areas of cooperation are expected to be livestock breeding and crop farming.
It is to be reminded, Indian share in Ukrainian total export boosted to 9.4% over 11 months of 2016.
