19.08.2016 18:23 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
As of today, while speaking in Kharkiv during a ceremony to mark the opening of a new metro station Peremoha (literally «Victory»), Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has expressed confidence that Ukraine will soon receive the next tranche of financial aid from the European Union (EU), UNIAN reports.
«I am convinced that the EU will make a decision in the near future. Only a few weeks left for united Europe to open its visa-free doors for Ukrainians. I am sure we will soon receive a strong financial cushion for reforms in the form of a tranche from the EU, and I am also convinced that we will win, that a united strong Ukraine will win,» Poroshenko said.
As to the earlier report, Ukraine expects to receive EUR600 million in macro-financial assistance from the EU.
