Ukraine, US to sign agreement on customs interaction

The Ukrainian Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk announces that Ukraine and the United States plan to sign an agreement on mutual assistance in the customs sphere on this year May 23 within the Commissioner of the US Customs and Border Protection Gil Kerlikowske’s visit to Ukraine, UNIAN
says referring to Danyliuk Facebook report.
«I’ve just endorsed a draft agreement between the governments of Ukraine and the United States on mutual assistance between the two states’ customs services. [On May 18] I will submit a draft resolution on the approval of the agreement to the Cabinet for consideration,» the Minister wrote.
Danyliuk also says the Ukrainian government intends to further deepen cooperation with international partners in the customs sphere, and recalled that relevant intergovernmental agreements have already been signed with Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
