Ban: 250 million people on the move globally

As of yesterday, while speaking ahead of the release of a UN report called In Safety and Dignity (telling about the large movements of refugees and migrants), the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said presently war, human rights violations, underdevelopment, climate change and natural disasters are leading more people to leave their homes than at any time since reliable records began, UN Radio reports.
As to the report, now there are about 250 million people on the move globally, of whom nearly 15 million are refugees.
It is to be admitted, within this year Sept, an international summit at the UN will examine new approaches to tackle the issue.
