Agrarian Ministry: Ukraine started exporting dairy products to China

By the end 2015, a few additional Ukrainian companies started exporting milk and dairy products to the People’s Republic of China, Government Portal says referring to the Ukrainian Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Olexiy Pavlenko report.
«Four Ukrainian companies received veterinary certificates on the export of milk and dairy products to China in Dec 2015. Another two companies have received the certificates in Jan 2016. The range of their export dairy products includes milk powder, whey and cheese,» the Minister told.
As to him, the right to export has been provided to Subsidiary Company «Starokostiantynivskyi Milk Plant», PJSC «Bashtanskyi Cheese Plant», PJSC «Litynskyi Milk Factory», LLC «Tarashchamoloko», LLC «Terra Food», LLC «Agroprodeksport».
As to the Minister, the corresponding state bodies of Ukraine and China have performed a large amount of work to open the Chinese market for Ukrainian dairy producers. «The Chinese market has great prospects for dairy products. We are very proud that the experts on certification and veterinary control of the People’s Republic of China have appreciated the quality of our country’s dairy products,» the Minister noted. He also added that the work on markets’ expanding for Ukrainian agricultural products would continue.
It is to be admitted, as of end Sept 2015, 18 Ukrainian companies had received the licenses for export of dairy products to China: Private Company «Prometei» branches, «Menskyi Syr», «Slavutskyi Butter Plant», «Ohtyrskyi Cheese Plant», «Romenskyi Dairy Plant», «Myrgorodskyi Cheese Plant», «Starokostiantynivskyi Dairy Plant», LLC «Elitmol Kyiv», «Techmolprom», «Zolotoniskyi Butter Plant», «Bashtanskyi Cheese Plant», «Ichnianskyi Dairy and Canning Plant», «Lityskyi Dairy Plant», «Bershadmoloko», «Dubnomoloko», «Cheese Club», LLC «Terra Food», «Zhashkivskyi Dairy Plant» and "Chmelnytskyi SMP Plant «Molochnyi Vizyt».
