Belarus, Ecuador to implement about 20 R&D projects

Belarus and Ecuador are going to implement about 20 scientific and technical projects in the area of information technologies, applied chemistry and physics, agriculture, space exploration, and renewable energy,
Belarus Radio reports.
As to the report, the matter was discussed within the meeting of the Belarus State Science and Technology Committee Chairman Alexander Shumilin and Ecuadorian Minister Coordinator of Knowledge and Talent Management Andres Arauz.
Reportedly, the possibility of implementing joint projects together with the Hi-Tech Park was also discussed (in addition to the establishment of a joint venture in Ecuador to make unmanned aerial systems and products made by the Belarusian R&D company Unmanned Aerial Systems & Technologies).
As to the report, within the meeting Arauz stressed upon the interest of the Ecuadorian side in developing and advancing bilateral cooperation across the R&D spectrum.
«We know Belarus’ technological abilities and we would like our private and State-owned companies to actively use them,» Arauz said.
