Oman considering investing in Belarus’ agribusiness, real estate, ecotourism

Oman businessmen show interest in investing in the development of agriculture, real estate, and ecotourism in Belarus. These matters were discussed when Sergei Rachkov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Egypt with concurrent accreditation to Oman, visited Oman, Belarus Radio says referring to the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ press service report.
As to the report, Sergei Rachkov met with the top executives of major Oman banks, investment companies, import and export companies. The sides exchanged views on promising prospects of bilateral cooperation in the area of finance, investment and export.
Reportedly, the Ambassador also met with a number of high-ranking officials. The sides discussed bilateral interaction in trade, manufacturing cooperation, science, technology, and interaction between parliaments.
As to the report, the sides reached agreements on organizing events in various areas of bilateral cooperation, joint development of scientific innovative projects, and the development of proposals to set up Belarusian assembly companies in Oman.
