President of Ukraine had a meeting with Prime Minister of Kazakhstan in Astana

As of yesterday, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko started his official visit to Kazakhstan with a meeting with Prime Minister Karim Massimov, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, Poroshenko
commended the completion of negotiations on Kazakhstan’s accession to the WTO.
«The launch of FTA between Ukraine and the EU on January 1, 2016, as well as Kazakhstan’s membership in the WTO will provide additional opportunities for the strengthening of trade-economic cooperation between our countries,» Poroshenko emphasized.
Reportedly, the parties exchanged experience in the implementation of reforms in their countries.
As to the report, Poroshenko and Massimov discussed a series of infrastructure projects that may involve Ukrainian producers (in part., projects in construction, mechanical engineering, oil and gas and agriculture industries).
The parties also discussed diversification of gas supply to Ukraine.
Reportedly, special attention was paid to the broadening of transport infrastructure for the transportation of cargo from Asia to Europe across Kazakhstan and Ukraine. It goes about the project in the framework of the Silk Road Economic Belt along the route Western China Western Europe.
As to the report, Karim Massimov congratulated Petro Poroshenko on his first official visit to Kazakhstan.
