Ukrainian working group on security resumes talks in Minsk

As of today, the working group on security of the trilateral contact group on Ukraine has resumed its behind-closed-doors talks in Minsk, Belarus Radio says referring to the the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Twitter report.
As to the report, on the eve the President Hotel played host to the meeting of the trilateral contact group on the conflict settlement in eastern Ukraine.
Reportedly, as OSCE special representative in the trilateral contact group on Ukraine Martin Sajdik told, it is important to reach a total ceasefire in Ukraine for the beginning of the next school year. In his words, the parties agreed to address the issue by 1 Sept.
As to the report, the OSCE representative added that the working group for humanitarian affairs agreed to do its best to secure the safety of school students, especially those children that attend educational establishments near the contact line. The next meeting of the trilateral contact group on Ukraine has been scheduled for 8 Sept.
