Yatseniuk urges officials not to impede sowing campaign

As of today, while speaking at the Cabinet meeting, the Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk addressed the Ukrainian
Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food with a demand to fulfill the function of the State that is, to create conditions to facilitate free development of the agricultural business, Government Portal reports.
«The principal objective of the officials is not to impede the sowing process. This is the first task for them, a significant one. And the second is to create appropriate conditions to ensure the function of the State to be fulfilled, that is to facilitate free development of agrarian business,» Yatseniuk stressed.
As to the report, the Prime Minister enumerated principal tasks to successfully hold the autumn sowing campaign.
«We now have a core issue which is, of course, fertilizers. This is number one. Secondly, it is crucial to maintain the process of grain transportation. The third is combustibles and lubricants,» the Government Head summed up.
As to the report, Yatseniuk also emphasized that the State food balance is to be maintained in order to have sufficient inner resources to endure the winter and keep the situation with prices on the market under control.
