Yatseniuk instructs SFS to take measures to ensure repayment of tax debts to State budget

As of today, the Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk held a meeting with the Chairman of the Ukrainian State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov and commissioned him to take immediate steps to ensure tax debts to the budget to be settled, Government Portal reports.
As to the report, the PM noted that the overall tax debt of all business entities before the State budget makes up UAH55 milliard. Meanwhile, restructuring of tax debts is possible only for those companies that are able to pay off their debts and have temporary liquidity crisis. And only on conditions determined by law.
Reportedly, Yatseniuk named distinct conditions to carry out debt restructuring: «Upon payment of 36% annual interest on the restructured tax debt, a clear repayment schedule and the mandatory imposition of a tax lien on the assets of a relevant tax payer until the date of full repayment of debts to the budget.»
As to the report, Yatseniuk also instructed the Head of the SFS to hold a meeting with all the major debtors to the State budget of Ukraine and to explain to them the Governments position.
