While speaking at the Ukrainian Cabinet meeting on Wed, May 27, the Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said he considered it necessary to hold a separate Cabinet meeting on job creation and repayment of wage arrears, Government Portal reports.
As to the report, within the meeting the Ukrainian Minister of Social Policy Pavlo Rozenko proposed to summon a separate Cabinet meeting on salary arrears. In his turn, the Prime Minister stressed the need to discuss at this meeting the issues of job creation, «These are related things. We need to make the economy work, so that people would create jobs.»
Reportedly, Yatseniuk instructed the Minister of Social Policy to hold a meeting aimed at the new jobs’ creation, repayment of wages and the effectiveness of the law on the single social contribution regarding legalization of salaries.
«We have twice changed the SSC law also on the proposal of our political partners at the Parliament. Now we have to analyze, if the law is working or not. Whether salaries have been given the opportunity to be de-shadowed, or the law has no effect and thus it should be appropriately amended,» Yatseniuk stressed.
