Ukrainian President honored memory of warriors fallen during World War II

As of May 9, on the 70th anniversary of Victory over Nazism in Europe, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko paid tribute to the fallen warriors of World War II. Together with veterans, the Head of State laid flowers to the monument at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Kyiv, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, the attendees honored the memory of the fallen heros with a moment of silence. The Honor Guard warriors saluted six volleys of personal weapons and solemnly marched.
Reportedly, the ceremony was attended by Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk, First Deputy Chairman of Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy, Kyiv CSA Head
Vitaliy Klitschko, Kyiv RSA Head Volodymyr Shandra, Head of the Presidential Administration Borys Lozhkin.
As to the report, before the ceremony the President had a conversation with the veterans.
