Poroshenko, Ban Ki-moon held phone conversation

As of yesterday, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko held a phone conversation with the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
As to the report, they discussed the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements and the international efforts for the restoration of peace in Donbas.
Reportedly, the UN Secretary-General praised the role of the Ukrainian President in ensuring the peace process in Donbas, as well as the devotion of Ukraine to the Minsk agreements. At the same time, he expressed concern over the violation of ceasefire and other items of these documents.
As to the report, Poroshenko told that Ukraine made every effort to send humanitarian cargoes to the residents of Donbas and solve urgent humanitarian issues in cooperation with the ICRC.
However, militants block the delivery of humanitarian cargoes with Ukrainian and international aid.
In his turn, Ban Ki-moon praised the actions of Ukrainian authorities aimed at solving difficult humanitarian situation. He also thanked the people of Ukraine for assisting the IDPs.
Reportedly, Poroshenko urged the UN Secretary-General to take measures for the liberation of Nadiya Savchenko, whose advocates and mother are in New York at the moment. The President emphasized that all hostages in Donbas should be liberated.
Also, the parties agreed to make further efforts for the deployment of peacekeeping contingent in Donbas under the auspices of the UN.
