Yatseniuk: We have deprived Ukrainian natural gas market of oligarchs and monopolies

The Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada supported a Governmental bill on the natural gas market, which will deprive the oligarchs or anyone else of the right to use public gas distribution networks free of charge, Government Portal reports.
As to the report, before voting the Ukrainian Prime Arseniy Yatseniuk appealed to the Parliament to adopt the bill.
He reminded that almost all gas distribution network in the country are State-owned, but several wealthy citizens use them for free.
«The Parliament has voted for one of the basic laws in energy market of the country,» said Yatseniuk on the results of approval of the law by the Verkhovna Rada. «Within ten years the people deputies could not adopt this law, and just today we have finally succeeded to deprive Ukrainian natural gas market of oligarchs and monopolies.»
As to the report, the newly adopted law stipulates that the public gas distribution networks may be used only on a paid basis.
