Yatseniuk: A business summit is scheduled for Jul aimed at drawing investment to Ukraine

Within Jul 2015 there will be held a major business summit, aimed at attracting investment to Ukraine: into agricultural and energy sectors, energy saving and infrastructure, Government Portal says referring to the Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk report made at the
press conference following the meeting with the Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel in Berlin on Wed, Apr 1.
As to the report, the Head of Ukrainian Government noted that German Chancellor Angela Merkel had supported an idea of such business summit.
«That’s what proves necessary today for the Ukrainian economy. We expect to see German business and German technology in the development of the infrastructure projects,» he stressed.
Yatseniuk also reminded that he had held a meeting with representatives of German business circles.
Besides, Arseniy Yatseniuk told that on same day the Ukrainian and German Governments had inked a Memorandum on a loan worth EUR500 million. Out of this sum EUR200 will be directed to support the budget, while another EUR300 million - «for infrastructure investment projects to be developed in Ukraine».
«These are funds, loans enabling to trigger development of small and medium-sized business,» the PM said.
