Poroshenko, Merkel, Hollande insist on immediate and unconditional ceasefire in Donbas

As of yesterday, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko held a phone
conversation with the Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and the President of France Francois Hollande, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, Poroshenko, Merkel and Hollande insist on the immediate and unconditional ceasefire, for the escalation is being continued and the number of victims among civilians is growing.
The parties stand for the return to all items of the Minsk agreements, for they are the only basis of the peaceful settlement in the Donbas.
Reportedly, within the conversation it was also agreed that there could be no preliminary conditions for the meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group.
As to the report, Poroshenko, Merkel and Hollande expressed regret over the absence of progress following the last meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk. Also, Poroshenko underlined the necessity of Russias official response to the disruption of the Trilateral Contact Groups work, for it is a signatory of the Minsk agreements.
Reportedly, the parties also agreed to continue close coordination of further actions aimed at peaceful resolution of the situation in the East of Ukraine.
