Ukrainian President and his wife took part in March of peace "I am Volnovakha"

As of yesterday, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and his wife took part in the March of peace «I am Volnovakha» on Maidan Nezalezhnosti in order to pay tribute to the victims of terrorists and everyone who sacrificed their lives for freedom and independence of Ukraine, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, the Head of State, the Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk and the people’s deputies took part in the prayer for the fallen Ukrainian warriors, the Heavenly Hundred Heroes and those who had been murdered by terrorists, including victims of the Volnovakha tragedy when 13 passengers of the civilian bus had died as a result of terrorists’ artillery shelling of the checkpoint.
Reportedly, addressing the attendees, the President noted: «Our today’s march and prayer are historical events on Maidan Nezalezhnosti, for we are fighting we our freedom and independence». «We will not give up a single meter of our land!» the President said adding that the previous night, «cyborgs» had demonstrated courage, patriotism and heroism in the Donetsk airport.
As to the report, Poroshenko emphasized that the precondition for the victory was the unity of the Ukrainian people. Petro Poroshenko noted that a lot of Ukrainians from Zakarpattia to Luhansk and Donetsk regions had taken part in a common prayer for the innocent victims of terrorists. «The enemy tried to make us get used to victims, for it to become a simple arithmetic statistics. But it will not happen. We will remember every Ukrainian hero who gave live for the sake of independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine,» the President emphasized.
Reportedly, Poroshenko stressed that terrorists attacked not only from the front line. He reminded the MH-17 aircraft and attacks on the volunteer offices in the Ukrainian cities. «What is their purpose? To intimidate us,» the President said. The Head of State noted that a lot of Ukrainians had come to the streets today with symbolic papers «I am Volnovakha (Je suis Volnovakha)».
