Poroshenko: Peace will facilitate inflow of investments

Establishment of peace in Ukraine will facilitate the inflow of investments, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office says quoting Petro Poroshenko as speaking today within the discussion at YES meeting.
«We need peace in the country to create safe atmosphere for investments. I do everything possible to establish peace in the country,» the President said.
«We have a new country after Maidan, after the fall of Nebesna Sotnya. We have new people, but old rules and old Parliament. That’s why I’ve made a decision to declare parliamentary elections,» Petro Poroshenko stressed.
The Head of State reminded that hostilities were not an excuse for the absence of reforms.
Besides, Petro Poroshenko also emphasized that the Association Agreement provided for anti-corruption reform, establishment of favorable investment climate, deregulation and reformation of judicial and legal systems.
The President underlined the importance of carrying out reforms in the security sector. «Investors will come when they feel safe in the country,» he said.
«I am determined to win the battle for investors’ trust. I am confident that we have great prospects,» the Head of State noted.
