Latvia ratifies EU-Ukraine Association Agreement

The Latvian parliament has ratified the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union,
NRCU says referring to the Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics Twitter report.
«The Latvian parliament has unanimously ratified the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement as a sign of solidarity with the Ukrainian people,» he wrote.
Rinkevics added that the Saeima of Latvia had also unanimously ratified the EU-Georgia Association Agreement. As reported, Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia signed association agreements with the EU in Brussels on June 27. To come into force, the agreements have to be ratified by the parliaments of Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, the European Parliament, and all EU member states. Latvia became the third state to ratify the association deal between Ukraine and the EU.
It is to be admitted, this document had been earlier ratified by Romania and Lithuania.
