Belarus, South Africa to step up cooperation

Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) and the Black Business Council of the Republic of South Africa have agreed to step up coordination in a number of avenues of mutual interest, Belarus Radio reports referring to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry press service.
As to press service, the agreement was reached at the meeting of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to South Africa Andrei Molchan and Director General of the Black Business Council Babalwa Ngonyama on 24 June.
The meeting focused on the state and prospects of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and South Africa, including the progress in implementing the memorandum of understanding between the Belarus government and the Black Business Council of the Republic of South Africa as well as the memorandum of cooperation between the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Black Business Council of the Republic of South Africa. Further steps for the sake of effective implementation of joint projects in the sphere of agriculture and the production sector of the Republic of South Africa were determined at the meeting.
