Belarus, Slovakia considering joint exports
04.06.2014 10:36 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
Belarus and Slovakia are considering a possibility to penetrate the markets of third countries together, Belarus Radio says as quoting the Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Alexander Gurianov who spoke at the meeting with the First State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic Pavol Pavlis and members of the Slovak delegation.
As to Gurianov, this will be a new area of cooperation for Belarus and Slovakia. At present, Slovakia is taking part in the upgrade of dairy farms in Belarus. Belarusian dairy products are very popular abroad; therefore the parties are considering a possibility to export the products that are manufactured by joint ventures. The parties are ready to unite their efforts to meet the demand for dairy products in Vietnam and Latin America.
Pavol Pavlis also added that this also pertains to joint projects in mechanical engineering. Belarusian machinery sells well on European markets. One of the examples of successful cooperation between Belarus and Slovakia is production of Belarusian tractors fitted with a Slovakian engine.
