27.02.2014 17:29 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
The treaty on the creation of the Eurasian Economic Union will be almost free from exemptions, Belarus Radio reports quoting the Belarus’ Justice Minister Oleg Slizhevsky.
«The draft treaty consists of about 700 pages. It sets out all norms which are currently subjected to regulation within the framework of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space. Our objective is to create the treaty which will be almost exemption-free,» the Minister said. He confirmed consultations are underway between the three Troika states, including at the level of the vice premiers who are responsible for this matter.
Oleg Slizhevsky said that the drafting of the treaty would be one of main priorities. The draft treaty should be ready by 1 May 2014. During the consultations at different levels officials are going to come to compromises on all points by choosing the wording that would satisfy the three sides.
