Semynozhenko: Ukraine suggests creating of Intergovernmental organization of international innovation development MIR

Ukraine has initiated creating of the Intergovernmental organization of international innovation development MIR. The Head of the Agency for Science, Innovation and Informatization (who has been today also appointed the Head of the Intergovernmental organization for cooperation in scientific-technical and innovation areas (MIR NTI), Volodymyr Semynozhenko says, Government Portal reports.
Semynozhenko admits that will make it possible to create a principally new instrument of international cooperation in innovation area and ensure a mechanism of realization of the Interstate program of innovation cooperation of CIS participating countries up to 2020.
«Taking into account comments and propositions of our colleagues from the Russian Federation, Belarus and Kazakhstan the Ukrainian party has finalized a draft agreement on creating the Intergovernmental organization of international innovation development MIR,» V. Semynozhenko noted.
Moreover, he has said a meeting of expert group that plans to agree this project finally will be held on December 12.
«I consider in March-April of 2014 we could sign this agreement,» V. Semynozhenko believes.
He reminded that the proposition to create the Intergovernmental organization of international innovation development MIR had been already discussed and supported in the course of the meeting of Prime Minister of Ukraine and the Russian Federation during a sitting of the Council of CIS Heads of Governments on November 20, 2013.
